Wanted Asap - Cat

Hey all,

Just wondering if any one as a CAT for my exhaust as my car is up for mot & tax but need mot to get my tax.

My Car is Clio - 1.2 16v Extreme 3 version!

Or does any one know where i can get on from seconded hand ?
Area is solihull / birmingham

unfortunately a 2nd hand cat could cost you more than a new one as original equipment (genuine renault ) will have a scrap value of £60 + due to platinum content
most scrapyards these days will not sell to you as easier to cash in their entire stock in one go for recycling
also a lot of cats are actually being stolen from cars parked in dodgy areas creating a shortage

aftermarket replacements will be cheaper due to less platinum content
why do you need one as unless rattling quite often emissions mot failures are lambda sensor problems or fuel/ electronics related

because i have done up my car in different ways lol.. ( i.e boy racers as some people call us) but im mostly take my car down Santa pod and donnington race ways.. etc


Basically i got a 1.1/2" str8 through exhaust system decated which i kept my old one for mot's etc but my garage got broken into and a lot of my standard stuff got taken... ( Including my cat )
Most of my standard stuff i got back.. but the cat they cashed it in..
and i reli dnt want to be buying a new one as i will only every use it for my MOT's.... ill just have to keep my eyes open!
