Hi all
In the process of fitting a new water pump to my '89 gtl. The Haynes manual tells me to use sealer on the new gasket, but the Russek manual insists that no sealer is used and the gasket be fitted 'dry'. Which is it?
I have always used blue Hylomar. I only apply it to the cylinder head. I then affix the gasket to the cylinder head and then bolt the waterpump to the cylinder head.
