This has been my experience of 'Deep France' for the last 40 years and more - an R4 and a tent....

I now see what hands free means. Take photos on straight roads and steer with the knees !

Steering with lefthand and taking pictures with the right. Big strong hands is good for taking one hand iPhone pics ( big hands often not so good doing mechanics on our tiny cars).
