Thanks Andy. Im trying to find one in the uk. With shipping cost and import tax there double the price. Any one know any ways around the import tax. Planning on buying all new parts for the engine/suspension from Italy. Or are there any suppliers in the uk?

I might be able to help with some parts - what exactly do you need? You probably know this, but the key to finding things is to have the part number - this sounds easy, but with the long R4 production run, not to mention the peculiarities of the Spanish-built cars and vans, it can be tricky.
If you pm me your email, I can send you a parts pdf.
Some photos of your engine and bulkhead plates would be very useful. What year is your van?
Good luck with your project!

Thanks Andy.
I didnt realise there were many differences on the spanish van. Like what? Im aware the roof is higher. To start with i need a steering rack. Ill send the part number. Also front brake disc calipers pads hubs track rods. Two complete drive shafts.

Engine wise im replacing it with a 1289 cleon engine. So will need to figure out the parts later when the engine is back from the builders

There's a secondhand LHD rack here (best to check the part number):

And a brand-new one:

As you're replacing the engine (the 1289cc engine will be great), you'll be bypassing some of the differences (distributor/alternator set-up (bracket)).
The master cylinder is (at least sometimes) different. Perhaps the handbrake - is yours the dash-mounted umbrella type, or is it between the seats?
I can probably help with pads and track rod ends.
Autodoc UK is a good source of parts; they're very efficient.

Thanks Andy
Yes the handbrake is under the dash. Im still doing the body atm. Should be in primer with the floor inner wings etc all sealed in the next couple of weeks.
Might have to have ago at repairing the bonnet. There just not easy to work with very flimsy.
Im looking for mostly new parts. Ive been restoring and painting cars for other people for over 20 years and this is my own project so aiming for something really clean and mint. With a few modifications.
Thanks
