I did the same, but I think my boot lock is different, to others. I have a third new barrel and it's not the same as the barrel in the boot lock. Mine is an earlier Chrome lock version.

I've been slowly getting my 4l back on the road, and have managed to replace the barrels in the doors, but the boot lock is different, does anyone have a spare lock and key I could buy please?

How far do you need to go back too? I got this chassis front with an engine in it. I can photograph it tomorrow and show you what’s left of it.

I have a front of a chassis for sale if anyone needs front crossmember/ engine mounts areas.

I'm thinking of Thenay, but I'm not well at the moment and couldn't cope with camping. I'll get my 4 out and start using it regularly to get it running right and see how it goes.

If it were mine I’d replace the radiator, trying to clear out sediment from them is very difficult. As an example I just had my 850 cc radiator recored, the difference in water capacity between the two was two thirds!
