If it were mine I’d replace the radiator, trying to clear out sediment from them is very difficult. As an example I just had my 850 cc radiator recored, the difference in water capacity between the two was two thirds!

Looks great, welcome to the forum, the joint between rear wing and body under the windows is really difficult to fix. Mines full of filler... Metallic Renault 4's always rust worse than flat colours for some reason.. Good luck with the tidy up.

I’d find a car with controle technique on it in the first place! It’s against the law to sell a car in France without at least 18 months on it, if I remember correctly. No point buying a heap of junk, you’ll spend more than the cost of buying a good one by trying to fix it up.

I normally, lock the sprocket. Then undo with windy gun. Come off every time.
