    Fan/Alternator Belt replacement - R1126

They're a standard bearing in them so are easy to fix or replace.

Do I need 2 or 4 winter tyres in Germany?

You do know you can buy winter tires that don't have studs in them? They're much better for general driving. Then buy a set of tyre chains for the difficult conditions. Makes life much quieter on the autobahn.

Rubber gaiters ball joints suspension and steering anyone know where to get replacements?

As thread title really, my ball joint covers are very crumbly, they need replacing before my MOT anyone found a sauce (sp) for some decent quality replacements? I'm six ball joint covers away from getting an mot, I don't really want to change all the ball joints as they're in great condition...

    Classics Monthly

That's how I've done my past two, cars, although I actually use a very thin cutting disk, cut it off, repair the jacking point, then weld the bottom of the A post back on. The original A post is far better than the replacement panels and I do not want to be lifting the body off.

    Condenser Hell

I've had this too, even worse are the rotor arms which the insulation breaks down on once hot becoming a fault which is very difficult to diagnose! Keep an eye out for new old stock parts and buy them up...

Hi Gordies, I'd be ok with getting them posted up to you, I have some big boxed that they should be good to go in. I'll just need to work out the postage costs..

    Fibre glass inner wings(Again)

There you go, they have surface rust, with a small amount of rusting along the outer wing mounts, but they are whole and in good overall condition.

    Fibre glass inner wings(Again)

I'll get them down out of my rafters and take some photos. Pretty sure they're damm solid. But don't hold me to that. I bought them for a project from a chap in France, so they're pretty rust free.

    Fibre glass inner wings(Again)

I have a pair of relatively rust free inner wings sat on the roof of my workshop. £100 each.
