Hi all, what is the best lubricant to use on the steering column top bush/bearing? I assume there is a roller bearing plus a rubber bush, do you need to use anything special to not damage the rubber? Cheers Piet

Hey Malcolm, I had seen Continental came out with the 145/80 x 13 E-contact specifically for the Twizy and was thinking that would be great for rolling resistance, but what is the speed rating? I couldn't find it.

Inspired by Tomcat I have made a PDF of my copy of the R4 bits of PR 401 from 1991. This covers carbs, distributors, starter motors, and alternators and all their component parts. Whether or not you can buy anything in it is another matter! Let me know if you want one. It's about 1 Meg.

I think Michelin only make one 145 x 13 tyre now, the Energy E3B. I have just fitted 135 x 13 E3Bs on my R4 (I bought them a while ago) and they are great, so I expect the 145 will be as good.. I am sorry to say Michelin seem to not be making 135 x 13 tyres now, and R4s aren't classic enough for...
