1986 GTL late type hazard switch

Hi folks, I've received a brand new hazard warning light switch for my 1986 GTL but I'm just keen to check Mr Haynes' installation instructions.

Naturally I'll disconnect the battery but then Haynes says just grip it and pull, and it comes out of the front of the dashboard.

Can it really be as straightforward as this?

It is as easy as that. Wiggle outwards rather than pull as the connector and cables are still attached.
