Having decided to convert my 1968 r4 to electric, I find myself tripping over the engine on my garage floor a lot. Is anyone interested?
It was rebuilt with new pistons and liners, big end shells, timing chain and exhaust valves less than 2000 miles ago and was running beautifully when removed in October. Only a small oil leak from the cylinder head - suspect one of the pushrod tubes.
This is the pre oil filter model and comes with carb and air filter, distributor, 6v starter (works very well on 12v!) and retro fitted alternator. I also have radiator, glass expansion bottle and fuel tank.
