Happy new year to everyone bit of a delay posting as now got better pc and trouble transferring pics across

Excellent! It doesn't look like it did to badly until the end. What happened at the back? Was it squeezed against a barrier or is that the result of careful lifting back onto the trailer?

Another thing I've always wondered - presumably the engine is forced against the front bulkhead in a bump. I see the triangular section of chassis is bent. Do you have any photos of the inside of the car after the race?

Looking at the accident damaged car I have and that one, it does seem that when you hit something you tend to go under the car in front and then everything gets pushed back into the engine.

i do have a name of a company that sells P38 and P40 in bulk if you decide to get it back on the road !

I've noticed French banger races seem to be a bit too fond of R4s, which is a shame.

Fair enough if they're rusted to bits, but I think a lot of good Renault 4s are being wasted
