Please find attached pictures of R4. 1984 1 owner 81,000 miles

It went for an mot 20 years ago, failed on the o/s front floor pan and part of the box section.

Garage who mot'd the car did,nt want the job of welding so the owner took it home and parked it on a hard standing next to a hedge.
I was told about the car and located it and all i could see was the tailgate sticking out from the brambles. I spoke to the owner and gave him £50. As i was loading it onto the truck it started to break up through the rust but i have managed to salvage all the seats, interior, dash glass, wiring loom etc. The engine is seized solid
Unfortunatly her last days are here as i am now off to take it to the crusher.

Rob

Now that's when I say an R4 is beyond repair... and I've never seen one that I thought couldn't be repaired (except for some accident-victims ofcourse). Did you get a lot of usable parts off it?

it fall apart on the trip home? and a bit of gum, duct tape and some WD40, elbow grease, some t-cut and a good old cuppa (lots) she'll be fine

Will probably buff out :o

Depressingly doesn't look too bad above the back wings compared with some cars !
