Bluebelle in France where I live

Bluebelle is 1984 4L and is blue and would have been owned and maintained by France Telecom. I bought her very cheaply with no C.T. Now passed test after some parts replacement work and a major clean the car is a treasure except for the brakes which require plenty of wellie. Would love to fit servo and discs. Anyone know if the Savanna has them?

Savannes (and GTL/Clan) had front discs as standard.
No R4 had been fitted with a brake servo, and it would not be possible to fit a modern type one behind the master cylinder, as space is very limited.
It is possible to fit a remote type servo, just like the one fitted to many English cars of the 60s and 70s. But since you have a double circuit master cylinder, you either must connect it to the front wheels only, or convert the system to single circuit. In both cases you will need to modify some of the brake lines.
I have driven such an R4, and it is certainly worth doing it, you get amazing braking!
