Bonnet catch

My bonnet catch will not allow me to close the bonnet (R4gtl 1986). This probably seems like a simple message with an obvious solution but any advice would be welcome. Many thanks

Hi Nick
if you mean that the bonnet closes but doesn't lock, then the spring on the catch has probably slipped out from behind it's retaining arm.
The end of the spring has just got to be pushed back behind the retainer.
Happens to me all the time
