Where can I find new brake discs and pads for the R4 GTL? Is there any brand in particular or is any ok.

Bendix or Girling for the pads. Discs are the same. You should be able to get these from a local motor factor instead of paying shipping costs from France. I advise you to get the discs professionally fitted as the disc retainer needs to be pressed from the hub bearings.

There are two different types of brake pads available. Which are the right ones?

Hi Richard,

that depends on your Brake system.
There are 2 different types - Bendix & Lucas Girling.

To identify you have to have a closer look behind one of your front wheels.
The Bendix system slides "freely" and is hold in place by a Pin on each side.
The Lucas system is bolted on with 2 screws.

I did a quick search for pictures.
