Breaking F6 Van

have decided that it is time my red van was recycled so anybody who is interested in any spares let me know

(mr lobster is after the rear bumper and a few other bits)

van will be stripped down over the next few weeks as my son is intending banger racing it on Boxing day :eek:

unfortunately both body and chassis are in a bad way -they all look ok in photos thats why people regret Ebay purchases
the inner chassis legs have had patches welded onto patches and can see no practical way of getting another mot without seperating body and chassis (which in some places has been welded across )

the r5 1108 engine is pretty tired as well so unless we are all as keen as Malcolm think providing spares to keep better ones running is more realistic

bear in mind i originally saved this van from being scrapped over 12 yrs a go !!
had it dissapeared then would it of been missed ?

i promise to keep all usable parts removed prior to it getting raced (lights, glass trim ) and if any mechanical bits survive ,more bits afterwards (antiroll bar, carb and manifold etc )

plus you will get pics on here before and after it gets raced at wimbledon stadium competing against astravans and escorts etc

Are you in the market for a new project Allen? I'm planning a clearout soon that will include '68 and '84 R4s. Both would be big projects, but neither is totally unrestorable, especially if you mix them together a bit. Take them both and I'll throw in a completely rotten 5 Gordini.

Any photos of the resultant carnage? I cant imagine a 4 would take too much abuse and still look remotely the same shape?
