Castle Howard classic car show

Just back from Castle Howard in North Yorkshire where I was flying the flag for the Renault 4. I was amazed at the amount of interest it provided. One lady said that if there was a prize for "cute" the Renault 4 would win. There were plenty of people who had had one or been driven to school in one or it was their first car. The owner of the midget next to me said he noticed it provided more smiles than most. What a great day out.

Out of curiosity, what was the show like in general? Busy?

Reason I ask is I had a stand at the 2016 show and it was really, really quiet. In previous years the show was at Harewood House and was really busy but after the YEP fell out with Harewood and moved it, it didn't seem to work as well.

As you can see from the pictures it was a very nice day which brought out the crowds. Lots of people lots of cars.

Yup! The weather makes ALL the difference.
We are setting off for the "Royal Welsh Show" in a couple of hours.
Forecast good (according to last night's Countryfile)
