Could any one tell me which of these is the chassis number

The full chassis number is on two lines on the square plate between the Renault symbols. Yours would normally be quoted as: 112800A0091273. Making it an early GTL.

The bottom number on the oval shaped plate is useful too if you are ever unfortunate enough to have to ask for parts at your local Renault dealer.*

Most GTL parts are still available from Renault if you quote that magic number. (Although the grille would come with the very cool modern Renault badge.)

*A lot of dealers are unhelpful. Whitehouse in Tumbridge Wells make the effort to market themselves as supporters of the older Renaults. Thay'll take credit cards over the phone and post the parts.

An Irish R4, that's the first time I've seen a non VF1 Renault VIN :-).
