Hi, does anyone know of a collection service / courier / vehicle transport that would collect and bring back a vehicle from France?? most companies I have contacted either don't reply or only collect within the UK. thanks Clare
P.S. the French fancy is noe running fine. thanks for all your advice. :D

Is the car roadworthy?

IF its not and you have to get a transporter then its going to cost quite a bit isn't it?

If its roadworthy, can't you fly over (or get a friend to fly over) pick it up and drive it back?

If not then where in France is the car?

Hi, thanks for reply. No, car is not road worthy and so I think I was being unrealistic about my chances of getting it back..... I have had a rough quote to transport it = £1500 ????? I love renault's but I think thats pushing it too far!! nevermind. Clare

Still haven't said where it is in France, I can see where you live. I have a trailer u see and I may... be able to help.

Hi Clare, i deliver and collect cars throughout europe if you let me know where it is in France i can let you have a price, i'm very reasonable and a Renault enthuiast 2 x R4's & R4 van.

hi, the location in France is North Charente??? I have no idea where this is but it says that it is 355 miles from Southampton. I would love to here from you - its an ebay car I am watching and it goes off line in 5 hours time..... Its a long shot but worth enquiring.. look forward to hearing from you. Clare x

Hi Clare, Charente is between Niort and Angouleme S W France, which quite a way down, i could collect it for you but the price would be 950.00 the car really wants to be worth
it for that although i travelled quite a distance to fetch my last one, anyway if you want i have an email which is bobbiesox1951@aol.com. look foward to hearing from you.

Many thanks for getting that quote back to me.... Its a very fair price - as you say it is a long journey. If the Financial future was a bit clearer right now I would go for it. but I have many many car and bike projects already on the go and I think it would be hard to justify another one if it was going to cost this much. I will try and resist... If I change my mind I will let you know. thanks Clare

Hi Clare, no problem i know what it's like i bought ( but could not really afford it at the time a R5 monaco 1.7 needed alot of help and TLC ) but eventually on the road and looking good but still have my passoin for the R4, anyway if you need any help in the future please let me know.
