Compatible starter motors

Hi All,

I am looking for a new starter motor for R5TX R1129 1.4 engine.

Conflicting information on what starters from other vehicles may fit as specifically listed for R5 seems to either throw up Mk2 GT Turbo or expensive "recon" units listing 1.0, 1.1, 1.3, etc including Mk1 and Mk2.

Do the Mk2 1.4 engines (and potentially other renault models) have the same fitting bolt spacing/size and number of teeth on pinion?

The important thing is to go on the part number - the Mk2 'Super 5' starters will be wrong.
