daisys new eyes

as you may know daisy is in intensive care with a heart problem(she is getting a cylender head gasket replaced)well after a good look around it looks like she needs a new windscreen.auto glass has quoted £185 fitted is this a good price? or has anyone got one cheapper

Auto glass are a rip-off. You can fit a new or second-hand screen yourself. It's not difficult!

if you have can i buy it of you ? i could come over for a visit maybe,because i think daisy may need some more bits.up until now she needs.a windscreen,
new head lights,an ignition,
I think her brakes are a bit dodgey but thinks likt that i think i can get from the local motor factors.i got a head gasket set and 4 spark plugs for £22.
Maybe blue bell can help with the next Question as she also lives in leeds.
How much is a re spray and where is a good place to get it done?
Also if i needed any welding on the chasse do you know anyone who is good local

Dunno Daisy, I've never had any respraying or welding done in Leeds. But I once bought some paint. Go through the Compton Rd traffic lights towards town, turn first right just past the shops and right again and there's a paint shop. The chap there might be able to advise.

How far away from leeds do you live?
Is there any chance you could pm your phone number.daisys windscreen is not broken it looks like it has got big cloudy spots on it so i asume it needs changing:confused
Is there a chance you could keep the bits on one side until i put daisys engine back in and give her a test to see what other parts need replacing

A long way, Ammanford is in west Wales, but I do come up to Preston occasionally if that will help. The screen is safe until you need it
