Design changes after 1974 R4688 gas?

I’m trying to buy parts and I’m concerned about design changes. Jensales can’t use the numbers from the original Case parts manual.

Have there been an changes?

I don't think there were design changes to the engine. They tended to change type number when they altered the engine. There were different carburettors, ignition parts, alternators etc and for those it's best to search for parts for whichever ones you have.

The girl at Jensales was dumbfounded. If I tell here I want a timing chain, tensioner, cover gasket, pan gasket, a few other related items do you suppose I’ll get what I want?
