Did you see who starred in Holby City last night? A white A-reg R4 was brought in to make the dishy surgeon appear infinitely more charasmatic, exciting and interesting. As you already know, Russell Crowe's latest film also featured an R4. I'm expecting that our R4s will soon be in demand to star in all the big movies. :yellowre:

I think the media are catching on to Renault 4s now. There seem to have been more staring roles in films and magazine articles this year than ever before.

But the poor old dears are getting rare. If things keep going the way they are then Renault 4 owners will become the new celebrities. I have visions of Hello magazine's centre fold being filled with scoop photos of Auntie Vera going to the shops in her 850, and all the porn mags featuring roodini's black R4.

Now is definately the time to pick up a reasonably priced yellow Renault 4. How is Ermintrude treating you?

I'll go with the former.
Nice to see they're getting a bit more attention nowadays though, I even had Matt Jones a.k.a. Little Matt from Practical Classics threatening to put my car on the Readers Cars page of their website but now I think i'll wait for Playboy or Hustler to get in contact instead and see if I can wangle myself onto the photo-shoot!

Nice to know that someone else watches HC as well as me -mind you, as I had put 'Greeny' forward for that staring role I was sorry to say that the producers turned mine down as it had no bumpers, Gordini wheels and a huge ding in the back wing, created when Jack Benjamin Stanbury backed into our local Tesco supermarket trolley park. On reflection, I am glad my R4 didnt get associated with all the blood, passion, intreague, body piercing, and in general 'the home for old famous actors' that IS Holby City

Now is definately the time to pick up a reasonably priced yellow Renault 4. How is Ermintrude treating you?

:yellowre: Ermintrude says she's fine and enjoying the fresh northern air and hopes to explore the Yorkshire Dales soon. I'm sure though she's missing the gang in the Renault 4 garage, especially Frederick and Clementine.
