Someone just broke into my R4 by bending down the corner of the drivers door frame and smashing the glass. Don't know why, there wasn,t anything inside and they didn't try to start it (fortunately). I'm not going to get upset but I do need some glass. Can anyone help?I live in Bath.

How much of the door/ frame/ glass do you need? I have quite a lot of each lying about, and the glass would hopefully survive posting if wrapped between a couple of sheets of ply.

You may be able to help me with something else. I have just bought an alternator to convert my car to 12v - I need my car to start on cold mornings. I notice in the photo of your new car (same year and colour as mine) that an alternator has been fitted and that the stay looks more curved at the end. Is this the case and would you have a spare one? Do you think it is the same as a GTL?
