Hi

I have a R4 which came with the engine and gearbox in the boot. When I come to fit them in would yu install them seperately or as one unit. If one unit is it necessary to remove the streering rack?

Yes gearbox and engine put together before send it in the car.
And yes steering rack neds to be removed.
I think you can see threads when engine/gearbox goes in an out of our cars.
Hopefully mine soon in chassis.
