Frosty morning drive

My photographer daughter took this photo last week as we were leaving for town.

She has an amazing eye for detail and took quite a few photos, but I liked this one best.

She was in the car behind us and in case you're wondering, she wasn't driving the car, she was the passenger!

At the top of that hill, under the trees, there is always a wet patch. When it freezes and turns to ice, I can't get any further, I just slide backwards

How was heating inside R4 in that frosty morning ride?

My heater works well and after 2kms it's warm inside. BUT, my fresh air vent is broken. I fixed it once before but it is again broken.
So now my hands on the steering wheel stay cold
I see that you have just installed your new one-with insulation

That is good to know....I really do hope that all my effort in insulating cabin will bring better weather condition inside.

It is old one (taken from car 4 years back) that got 5-6mm thick adhesive foam on outer side, so when you pull lever in cabin you get tight fit, and no air leak inside (hopefully)

Is flap that got broken on yours or something else?

I have one to spare if you are interested?
Need little bit cleaning out of old paint but it can be cleaned!

Yesterday it was -1degree when I went to town and my hands got very cold again so when I arrived back I decided to fix the flap. Only afterwards did I see your mail. Here are photos of the repair.

i used a roofing material which has bitumin on one side for adhesion and silver material on the other side. If it breaks again I will accept your offer
