Hi

I don't have a Renault 4, I found Clementine's Renault 4 Garage while brushing up on spraying and welding techniques online. I was only going to spend five minutes but I was captivated by all those techniques and lovely photos taken by Clementine and Malcolm and I read the site from cover to cover.

I'll be using those techniques next time I respray "The Nightfire Special" http://www.evalbum.com/1640 which is my battery powered Rover Metro.

I might have got my own back on you because once you discover evalbum you'll be there for hours! It's a whole new world.

A Renault 4 would make a wonderful EV conversion for anyone who is up to the challenge!

Welcome. The conversions look very interesting, but they must be expensive. Personally I probably don't cover enough miles to justify the cost, though for the sort of driving I tend to to (5 miles most days). Also I'm terrified of electrical control systems.

Love the installation in the Metro - a lightweight base car must be a big advantage. R4 would be perfect too.
