Instrument Cluster Removal

Please, some more help if possible.
I need ro replace the cluster on mine but I can find little help on line. I'm led to believe that the steering wheel needs to come off but I can't even remove the cover to get to the nut. What's the trick to removing the cover, then do I have to remove the dashboard itself? It's looking like an almighty delicate hassle?
Anyone know of a step by step guide on line anywhere please?

My steering wheel cover is the one extends across the width of the wheel and I don't want to force it out and break anything
