My dad bought a 4 (Daisy) the other day, i'm v happy :) its amazing!! I'd never driven one before !!!

1972 left hand drive, owner is moving to NZ , and was very sad to see it go.
It has the original french 'numberplate' hand written underneath newer one, and I can't quite believe the glass expansion bottle!
Apparently it belonged to a Mr. Audry (Aubrey or similar, handwriting is unclear) who designed the bodywork, and this is one of the first (or the first :S) 4 on a 12v battery, which is why it was the designers. Not sure quite if this is the case, but wondered if anyone could offer an insight!

Thanks!

I'd assumed the 12V cars were introduced a little before 1972. My guess would have been 1969, but I've got no good information on this.

1972 was an excellent year. My favourite R4s were built between 1968 and 1973.
