Just bought a renault 4

The title says it all! I have recently sold my Citroen DS23 to fund a property purchase and felt the need for another french classic. After searching high and low for almost 4 days , i found a completely original, superb condition unmolested 1975 model locally.


Not sure of the name of the colour, but I love it. From a quick look the only non standard item is the expansion tank, it looks like a Golf, so I will be on the lookout for that.



I will collect it in a few days, and will let you know how it runs

Just a bit of background, i have previously owned about 20 Renaults, starting with a Dauphine when i was training as a nurse, a Caravelle, up to a Trafic camper van last year and a Clio as my daily runner

Gear knob looks like it's the other way up from what I'd expect, is this a southern-hemisphere thing?
