Hi, very much a newbie to all thet 4 owners here, Ive just bought a 4 from Jersey, previously registered as an L in uk [rhd]...This is a bit of a hannkering to my first car [j reg R4 van]....it amazingly has never had any chassis/ floor welding, and doesnt appear to need any, but the roof is rusty and the paint work flatter than a aflat thing, the mileage is 56 thou [gen]....Ineed new door rubbers, did I pay too much at £1500? I still have to re register it back to the uk, and have had to pay shipping and vat... are there ever renault 4 meetings? I cant remember the last time I saw a 4 around Salisbury....but theres one now! yours steve [soggy]

Hi good to hear you have bought a 4 . You are just comming in at the end of the season when most events are comming to an end.
There is a 4 Run usually in May but there are many events through the year you could bring your car to.

Have a look at Renault Classic car club we have a list of events usually published early in the new year and there are two close to you.

A number of members will be going to Reims in March but not many go in their Classics although some do .

We had a 4 at Exeter and Grantham this year and hope to see more of the 4s out next year. I am also new to the R4 with a 1983 GTL which I hope to complete in December ready for next season.
