I know it’s probably been discussed a thousand times but after setting timing with what appeared to be all new components on my 1108 210B 4F4, the Van was not very pleasant to drive.
I obtained an ‘ inter motor’ condenser and removed the Ducellier fitted to what appeared to also be a new distributor.
The Quatrelle is now faultless and powers up even moderate gradients without the need to change gear
I know there is a procedure to test condensers but the clue here was there was no spark when contact was made between the points ( ignition on).
