Hello Team - a while ago thanks to this wonderful site I met MikeGTL otherwise known as Michael Geary.
Together we have now set up Meridian Engine Services - Michael running the business and me as the apprentice.
Michael has vast experience in all aspects of engine repairs, having worked in the business for over 10 years.
We have a large engine repair workshop at Barton in Cambridgeshire close to junction 12 on the M11 which is well stocked some wonderful old and tested machines as well as the very latest in engine repair machinery.
We can currently offer you the following services with perhaps even more in the future such as White Metalling, what ever that is:
• Full Machine Shop Facilities
• Cylinder Head Reconditioning - Cylinder Head Hot Pressure Testing
• Cylinder Head Camshaft Line Boring - Cylinder Block Reboring, Re- sleeving & Honing
• Crankshaft Regrinding, Polishing & Crack Testing
• Cylinder Block Main Big Line Boring & Line Honing
• Engine Balancing - Con Rod Reconditioning
• Flywheel Lightening & Grinding
• Reconditioned Classic & Sport Engines
• Local pick Up & delivery Service
We repair all varieties of engines ranging from motor cars, vans, motor bikes, tractors, commercial vehicles, professional grass cutting equipment, building site machinery, road repair machines and marine engines. No aircraft engine work undertaken at the moment sadly!!
Michael also has a huge stock of vintage and classic car engine spares ranging from piston, rings, bearings, head gaskets etc so do please call him if you looking for something as he may have exactly what you need in his Aladdin's cave.
