I have for sale a 1994 Twingo , 1239cc . so its about as early a model as you are likely to find. UK registered and Mot to April 2019 it has many parking related dents but actually looks really nice. Fitted with UK dipping headlights (the original european ones will be included) , also included is a spare engine and gearbox with very minimal use, but I think the original engine still has many more miles left in it. Not sure what to value this car at but I think something around £1000 is about right. I have had this car for sixteen reliable years and I would like it to go to a good home.
The car is in Dorking, Surrey.

Hi David, Brian Whiteside of the RCCC had my old one for sale a while back, same colour as this one, 97 model, with a sunroof. Might be worth contacting him.

Already have! I'd ideally like one of the launch colours and preferably green but if I can't find one within a reasonable timescale then Brian does have three Twingos at present. Basically, I just want this one but with a sunroof -

This is one " L " of a car at that price. (Potentially double that in 5 years or less - my opinion)

Hi Andy. Just a quick question. Where did you source the RHD headlamps as I'm thinking of getting a Twingo and it would be useful information to have. Yours looks great but I want a sunroof model. Thanks. John

Hi John. . I was lucky enough to find my headlamps on e bay but I`ve never seen any on there since . If my records are correct the Renault part numbers are 7701 040 499 and 7701 040 500 these are for the earlier cars like mine, I would suggest checking these numbers with your friendly Renault dealer before ordering, thats if they are still available ! Renault made these headlamps for the Japanese market (where they were officially imported apparently) so they maybe hard to get over here. By the way my car has the factory tilt and slide tinted glass sunroof which I can report as being excellent, perhaps even better than the wabasto folding one that was in my R4. I`ve decided to hang on to my Twingo for the time being, I`m really quite attached to it , its so good to drive , and reliable. Hope the info helps. Andy
