Mystery 28IF - LPG version?

I found this in the garage while looking for other parts. It's a NOS Zenith 28IF V05 903 from 1985; I've never seen one like it - can anyone identify it?

It's a Zenith IFG for a Renault 4 210B GPL (R4F4) with 688D7/12 engine so indeed for LPG
