Hello Brian, Sorry it took me so long to get back online. 1108 motors are a dime a dozen around here, anytime you like. Just the motor, or gearbox as well?
Just a thought, I've got an Alpine motor and gearbox down here that someone in the UK would like...maybe your transport friend...nudge nudge wink wink...

Hi Brian,
I replied to you in a private conversation.
Just to be clear to all - it's not my Alpine engine and gearbox, but a neighbor's. I considered buying the engine for my R4GTL, but I'd much rather have a 1.4 non-Alpine...which I am still searching for [I think I'll have to go to some Renault 4 specialist in France with lots of old wrecks at hand, if anyone has good recommendations]
