New potential Owner

Hi..a very new member looking at buying my 1st R4. I have found one in southern Spain which I am interested in ( car will stay in Spain )

Having a problem finding out model details:

It’s a 1981 TL model
Log book says 1108cc..I thought that model had the small engine? Log book says 688 engine code also
Handbook with car says Renault 4 TL. R 1128
Does it have a heater fan or just hot and cold air?

Spanish cars have lots of differences compared to French ones, type denomination being one of them. If it's chassis type R1128, however, it will always be equipped with the 1108cc engine.
Heater fan always standard on any R4 except for the very early basic versions.

I am soon to be a Renault 4 owner in Spain, the insurance company wants a letter giving a value from an owners club before they give insurance. Any ideas?
