ps can anyone tell an ignoramus how to get a Pic up on this site as when I try to insert a pic it asks me to 'enter the URL of my pictures?

Welcome to the forum Ian. Did you buy the light green GTL or the Irish postie van?

For loading photos on the forum scroll down from the box you write the reply in, and look for a button called "manage attachments". From there you should be able to browse for a photo on your computer and upload it (there is a limit on size set at 480kb).
