Petrol Tank prep

What needs to be done to the petrol tank before I reinstall it? not happy with it in this state.



Also how does the fuel pump come out? Want to bench check it and it looks like the tank was made around it (!?)

There's no pump in the tank mate I've got a video but it's hard work to post on here here I will send it it it on messenger as I've got the tank out of the the 1980 Renault 4 Van at the moment it's the inside you need to be worrying about not the outside
