Hello! I want to do this to my r4 any ideas where to start!?

Easiest place to start would be to pick up a Renault 4 Frog. That would provide the front and rear wings and the hood.

Though the early factory workshop manuals have a lot of information about how the Renault 4 Plein Air was assembled (there's just about enough in there to show a dealer how to convert a standard car to plein air using factory panels). eBay.co.uk often has the manuals. M.R.61 is a manual with the information.

I think those are JP4s. Here's the JP4 website, which illustrates the conversion process.

It looks very involved, and I have seen several on the roads in France. Maybe it would be easier just to find one.

I live in Croatia and i've noticed in the jp4 instruction project link
they use fiber parts (white car parts in the pictures) link

Note that JP4s/Frogs are based on a R4 chassis that is 27 cm shorter than the original (certainly cut and re-welded by the company who did the conversion). The Plein Air would be an easier project.
