Hi
I'm in the process of re-fitting the outer CV joint to a R4GTL. Prior to taking it off, I noticed a dollop of yellow paint on the end of the shaft next to where one of the three pronged clip head's hook into place. I also noticed this particular clip head has a capital 'M' stamped on the outer side.
The other two sides do not have the yellow paint nor the letter 'M'.
I was wondering whether anyone knows what the letter 'M' stands for and whether the clip heads only hook back in one position. Ie, side with dollop of yellow paint has to marry up to clip head with the letter 'M'.
Any advice would be gratefully received.
