R5 campus, where's my temp gauge?

I have just bought a 5 campus and looking at the dash I can't see where the temperature gauge is, there is a thermometer symbol which presumably lights up if the temp gets too high. Is this standard?

fraid so dont wait for the light though ,comes on at 115c bit late , you can fit dash panel off better spec car all plugs in and works no wiring mods needed
where are you as probably got bits if you want them
otherwise make sure electric fan works and check levels regularly like R4 owners have to !!

thanks mr. reno-man, I'm in newport south wales, I' seen clock sets from a gt on e-bay for about £15. so I think that's the way I will go.

just a thought how old is your car ?as may only have single connection on temp sender on w ater pump
if yours is later 1397 injection model no problem if 1108 ie 91 or older sender will need changing good luck

you may even get hold of a cluster with revcounter -wow

it's a 1994/5 model 1.4 campus prima (very basic)
