R5 indicator stalk on a later r4?

Just wondered if this was possible and if anyone had tried it?
This stalk has other functional capabilities alongside the indicator control on r4. Multi-connector plug can be conected but does the wiring inside the switch are compatible?
P.S. Cancelling peg attached to the stalk I would replace it with original.

Switch functions are exactly the same. I haven't checked if terminal positions correspond, too.
Switch on the first post is from a Super 5 but this should also be the same regarding functions.

then why does it have one terminal more? Can r5 stalk may perform other functions?
