Hi, I had a Renault 6TL as my first car in 1991 (Couldn't afford an R4 or 2CV!!!) and i've collected a few bits over the years. I'm having a clear out and would like to offer the following to any enthusiast who can make use of them :-)

1.) Haynes Manual (Used but complete)
2.) R6 Phase 2 Handbook (Good Condition complete) 1976ish
3.) NOS RENAULT 6TL Tailgate emblum in Renault Parts wrapper

Email me on jontallon@hotmail.com if you want these bits. Postage for the handbook and badge would be next to nothing but the Haynes Manual will cost about £5.

Would love to have a look at an R6 if anybody has one in the South West :-)

Couldn't afford a Renault 4? The Renault 6 was the posh version of the 4 that we all lust after.

Hope you can find someone who wants the parts, but there can't be many 6s left in the UK. If you can hold on to the bits for a month or so until search engines list this page then we might attract a Renault 6 owner. Otherwise eBay might be worth a shot.

Ahh, but you see R4s and 2CVs have always had an anti-cool kind of thing going on where as in 1991 R6s were just weird ugly old cars. I got side swiped in mine and lost my right knee cap so it was a bitter sweet (painful)relationship for me. It was in a fantastic 70 bronze colour and had lovely squashy leatherette seats I left a review for it on http://www.carsurvey.org/
and it was the only one!!I'll try and scan in a pic of the poor old thing in a bit (post crash).
