Radiator trouble

I've just bought a replacement rad for my 1984 GTL from www.mister-auto.co.uk along with a radiator cap.

Neither the old or new he cap fits - and having asked Mr Auto and the manufacturers (NRF) have got no-where.

Anyone come across either the problem or a solution?

There are four rad caps on the site perhaps you ordered the wrong one.
