Hi Folks, and a happy New Year!
This is something that I need to have done before handing over the remains of my R4 (I've removed everything else in the way) to the welder:
I'm trying to remove the wiper assembly, but I'm not quite sure what to do. I've taken off the blades and the dashboard, so I've got access.
When I try to turn the nut shown in the pictures, the whole bushing including the nut (I hope that's correct) can be screwed back and forth in the hole below the screen opening, but never moves as far as to drop outside.
Are there any hints as to remove the whole assembly? I don't want to grip the bushing with pliers as it looks rather soft.
