i have a 1984 renault 5 tx in urgent need of an ignition coil, re101 (?) anyone any ideas where to get one from ?

If your system has points then any motor factor can help. If it's electronic then have you tried a Renault dealer?

I bought an electronic on on ebay a few weeks ago so check that

Give Derek at Renospeed a call. I sold him an engine for a TX a year or two ago, and I'm fairly sure he didn't use the ignition coil.

Failing that it should be easy to convert to a points distriibutor and a normal coil.

Failing everything - have you tried Andrew's Renault 5 site?
