On my short journey home from work tonight in Marigold she started running very lumpily and when I parked outside my garage she wouldn't tick over. I suspected a fauled plug, and on examination all four were black with soot. I checked the carb and noticed petrol around the bottom flange, and then spotted that the top cover plate was lose. Not good, petrol, hot manifold, hmm. I worked on the carb a while back and of course tightened the screws up, I've now fitted spring washers. So check your screws lads n lassies. Marigold is running fine again now, and ready for her trip to Kent.:smile:
