G'day...I thought this might be helpful....I managed to adapt the kit designed for the larger distributor today, Was fiddly and the outcome is not yet refined...But it is working on my 850
Basically what i had to do was design another adapter plate which is also a heat sink and made from aluminium. I have also had to take 2mm off the bottom of rotor and scallop out the cap to allow for the protruding red module as well as drilling a new hole in distributor housing to allow wiring to exit.
My Ducellier R253 4277B is fitted to a lawn mower and only has mechanical advance, I believe at this stage this may be faulty and I am thinking of locking it.
