I have still got ornella at my place now being awkward to start and when andrew lewis who offered measurements from his suspension came to visit on Thursday I took a few pics
Not sure he has posted pics b4 on here but as I had never seen a malibu kit conversion in the flesh thought I would share pics
Whilst chatting about my repaired chassis I thought I would call another local owner simon Sapsted to have a look too

I bid on the Malibu when it was on eBay but lost out! It looks very cool - probably better suited to the South Coast rather than grey East Anglia

andrew actually lives in readingso was quite brave driving down to visit with the roof downhe did have a very fetching lumberjacks cap Hidden under the seat
by 7 o'clock he did chicken out and put the hood up sadly i'd run out of battery to take pictures on my phone there is a video of him starting the red one using the cranking handle which i might upload if anybody is interested

Careful with your thumb too Paul. Andrew had his on the same side of the handle as his fingers - if the engine kicked back the handle would come out of his hand without breaking any bones.

Good to see the old ones out and about. Haven't come across the other two before.

Glad you are amused think you need a sense of humour to own an R4
Ornella has been treated to a new ngk 6v coil so I am going to have another go as I think I've cured starting issues now
Happy to keep putting pics and vids up as long as they are aprecciated as I am loading stuff to facebook on my page and renault owners club uk much easier as without a pc this forum needs pics resized first then 3 steps to upload individually each one waiting to complete repeat etc
Had quite a few views on vids and both are only listed here
